Sheltered jobs for more than 300 disabled persons
It seems natural to us to help people who are not having an easy time in life. That's why more than 50% of our employees work for us in established or designated sheltered workplaces.
Sheltered jobs for disabled people are always established in accordance with Section 75 of Act No. 435/2004 Coll. on Employment, as amended. We currently employ over 300 disabled persons. We integrate them into the complete structure of the company and we care that they have a good time working for us.
Thanks to a number of sheltered jobs, we are able to offer a range of our services on a substitute performance basis. Our total substitute performance limit for 2025 is 123 million CZK.
How are our disabled colleagues working for us?
We are pleased that our sheltered jobs allow our colleagues to work in a way that suits them. We respect when they need, for example, more flexible working hours or a slower pace of work. We are happy when they enjoy their work and when they don't leave us after many years. Read how our disabled employees feel about working for us.
Ladislava A. has been working for us since 2012 as an assistant in the economic department. She manages the company's car fleet and oversees the fuel cards.
"Before I "landed" at Z+M, I tried working in several companies. Unfortunately, none of my employers allowed me the freer pace of work that I need for my job. Because of problems at work, my health deteriorated. When I joined Z+M, I was able to work at my own pace. This is because we agreed on free time and pay for performance, not for time spent at work. This system suits me much better and my health has improved and stabilised."
We have employed Peter D since 2008. He works as a renovation technician. Peter is one of our most loyal employees.
"I take care of the production of alternative print cartridges. I certainly wouldn't change. At Z+M I have found a quiet environment and a very friendly team. My supervisors are sympathetic to me and take into account my disability as well as those of my colleagues."
Jakub J. is a research and development technician with us. He has been working here since 2013.
"My supervisor recommended me to become a research and development technician and I am really happy about it. I enjoy the work, it is interesting and varied. We have a nice team here and we communicate with each other without any problems. I'm also glad that more people with disabilities similar to mine are working in the company."
